Why can't DotA 1 have different features?
Why keep them exactly the same? Cause if they are exactly the same you'd be better off playing DotA 2...
Why not take this opportunity to make something new or better out of DotA 1?

Could we have manabars added to DotA?
As it is handy being able to see (roughly) how much mana your enemies (and allies) have.
What do you people think about this?
