Since some Blizzard developers started doing updates for WC3, I made a post asking them to increase the maximum allowed map size. Maybe they will care this time.

It's already done long ago, since 1.27b you can host maps upt to 128mb

So why the map can only be played on 1.26?

Because of features which are impossible at any other patches
